A B O U T
One man’s battle with impermanence, solitude and the weather: Vessel was the second in our two-part meditation on death (‘All At Sea’ and ‘Vessel’, 2016) Combining acrobatics, physical theatre and video projected onto falling water, Vessel looked at the phenomenon we call ‘life’ through the lens of death. Created at a time of social unrest, rising seas and escapes made in unsafe vessels, Vessel was about the value of now, and whether it is ever possible to leave life knowing that you have done enough. |
