TOUR ASSISTANT
URGENT: DRIVER AND ASSISTANT NEEDED, ALL AT SEA TOUR
We are urgently seeing a tour driver and assistant to join our friendly team.
Our production manager has been in an accident and can not currently drive due to spinal injuries. We are urgently looking for an assistant for him, to support him in his role and enable the tour to go ahead.
This opportunity would be ideal for someone with a full, clean drivers license, keen to gain experience of outdoor touring theatre.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY DETAILS:
- Post: Driver and assistant for All at Sea show and Cloud installation re-rehearsals and tour
- Responsibilities: arranging van hires, inc collection/ return, all driving, supporting on loading and lifting,
and generally assisting the technical manager throughout the bookings as required. - Location: the storage is currently Upminster, so we are ideally (though not exclusively) seeking
someone in London/ Kent/ Essex. The Tech Manager lives in Lincolnshire, so near there is also an
option. - Period: The tour starts in less than two weeks, on the 28th of May, last date is 10th Sept. Dates below.
- Fees: £10.50-£11.00 p/h, plus travel/ accom
- Contract: Freelance, fixed-term. Remote position, reports to the Technical Manager.

- [If possible, given the short notice] eve of the 19th May / early on the 20th May: van collection from Upmister, transport set to Newbury for rehearsals.
- [If possible, given the short notice] Between the 22nd and the 17th May, rehearsals - come and meet the team (date within this week flexible, to be arranged), 101 creation centre Newbury
- 27th May, late afternoon/ eve, get out/ drive to first tour location

- 10th Sept, All in the Mind Festival, Basingstoke

- A passion for the arts; eager to contribute as a key member of our touring team to deliver a successful and smooth-running tour.
- A full, clean driving licence.
- Own van would be a huge bonus
and be: - Happy experience of working as part of a team.
- Organised and reliable
- Based relatively near the storage location, or happy to travel there as required
