A stand featuring a replica of the cloud seen in both All at Sea and Vessel, complete with lighting and sound. Manned by members of the company, the installation acts as a place for the public / audience members to reflect and engage with the show’s themes.
The installation encourages people to write a pledge, thinking about what they could do to leave the world a better place. These are written onto tracing paper featuring a stencil and simple instructions for how to fold it into a small paper boat.
The paper boats are then attached to threads coming from the cloud, creating a rainstorm of thoughts and pledges.
The installation can be present all day, independent of either performance. For indoor venues / theatres, this can be held in the foyer or entrance area.
